Sitting crunched over behind a small laptop for hours on end is unhealthy for a number of reasons, and yet it’s the situation most of us find ourselves dealing with. The consequential tightness that builds around my neck and hips really backfires when I try to walk even nine holes, and I don’t have the time or patience to get weekly massages.
That’s why I pulled the trigger on the original Theragun Pro a few years ago, and it’s been a worthwhile splurge. There’s something about the way the machine pulses that makes it so easy for me to massage myself — I never have to strain to feel a deep massage, just a simple pass of the Theragun over my muscles is all I need to feel fresh and loose.
At the end of 2019, Theragun introduced a smaller, more travel-friendly option called the Mini. Not only is it less expensive than the Pro, its smaller size makes it easier for me to hold it while I massage myself. I find myself using the Mini more often than the Pro even when I’m home, and I love that it’s light enough to drop inside my golf bag for on-the-course relief. This model is $25 off for a limited time.
