Miura Golf’s Black Friday deals: What’s on sale — and how to save

Miura's PI-401 iron is loaded with more than enough tech for the golfer in your life.

Black Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year, which means it’s the perfect opportunity to score great deals from some golf brands you’ve been eyeing this year.

If one of those brands is Miura Golf, this is the chance to pick up that set of MB-101 irons or 501 tee on your wish list. (Or maybe it’s on someone else’s wish list — but most likely it’s yours.)

If you’re unfamliar with the Miura brand, just know it’s the preferred iron option for a number of tour pros, including Abraham Ancer and Charl Schwartzel. Founded in 1957 by Katsuhiro Miura, each forged club is hand-crafted and quality checked by Miura-San or one of his two sons, Shinei and Yoshitaka. Corners are most definitely not cut during the design and creation process.

Of course, when you’re talking about some of the most sought-after irons and wedges on the planet, the price tag isn’t cheap.

This is where the Black Friday deal comes in. From 11/22 through 11/30, Miura is offering 20 percent off sitewide — with no promo code required. It’s a sale that could ultimately make those just-out-of-reach Miura irons a reality. It should be noted that select hats and shirts are also being marked down as much as 50 percent for the Black Friday sale.

If you’re unsure where to start and need some direction, here are 3 items that deserve consideration.

Miura PI-401

When Miura develops a new iron design, it’s safe to assume they went all-in in terms of research, development and engineering to ensure they deliver the best possible version of what they have in mind. As is the case with the all-new dualmaterial PI-401 irons, which are designed to be exceptionally long, forgiving and playable for all player types.

Forged and milled to create a soft feel, these beauties have added bounce for consistent turf interaction. A C-grind (with heel and toe relief and camber from the front to the back of the sole) increases playability and versatility. Wider sole design tapers from heel to toe, allowing for a more effective bounce along the middle of the sole.

Miura Samurai Hoodie

Miura Samurai Hoodie

This hoodie reminds Miura club owners of the long history of the club makers who have so carefully hand-forged the irons in their bag. Long before they were club makers, the Miura family hand forged Samurai Swords. Crossed, these swords represent a symbol of protection, perfection, and dedication. Let this premium hoodie be the reminder of what you have, or the reminder of what you hope to one day own.
