Mizuno ST-Z 230 fairway woods

Mizuno ST-Z 230 Fairway Woods

$300
Click through to purchase a new Mizuno ST-Z 230 fairway wood from Fairway Jockey today.

Rather than break down the ST230 fairway wood line into separate designs, the single STZ model offers a ton of versatility with a higher launch and lower spin in a mid-sized club head, specifically developed alongside Mizuno’s Tour advisors. The ST-Z incorporates the CORTech Chamber into a high-energy MAS1C steel face and body design that also used a carbon crown to lower the center of gravity and save precious weight to be positioned around the head for higher MOI. The Quick Switch hosel which is available in both the 3 and 5-wood heads offers a full 4 degrees of adjustability to take the range of available lofts from 13 to 20 degrees.

PXG 0311 Gen5 and 0211 fairway woods

PXG 0311 Gen5, 0311 XF Gen5 and 0211 Fairway Woods

$249-379
Click through to purchase a new PXG fairway wood today.

PXG’s Gen5 fairway woods come in standard and XF versions, with the standard being the lower-spinning of the two. Both come with carbon crowns, a high-strength AM355 steel body, and a stainless steel squared face for improved ballspeed and perimeter-located weights for added forgiveness and more distance. The standard has a flatter sole while the XF has a rail design for better turf interaction–a design feature particularly helpful for those with steep attack angles. Also, the MOI on both are much higher, ranging from 34% in the standard and 37% higher in the XF when compared to respective models last year. The 0211 fairway woods gain extra forgiveness thanks to a squared-up face design that expands the hitting area which in turn expands the ability for the face to flex when hit away from the middle. Models include PXG 0311 Gen5, PXG 0311 XF Gen5 and PXG 0211.

Srixon ZX MKII fairway woods

Srixon ZX MKII Fairway Woods

$280
Click through to purchase a new Srixon ZX MKII fairway wood from Fairway Jockey today.

The ZX fairway woods incorporate much of the MKII driver technologies, but the Srixon engineers still went further with the fairway woods’ “Cannon Sole” that places a “floating” weight pad (which sits like a cresting wave toward the face) in the sole to properly position the center of gravity for ideal launch and spin but still allow maximum face flex. For additional discretionary mass, the 3-wood model utilizes a carbon crown to further lower the center of gravity and increase MOI. Another beneficial feature of the fairway woods is the stepped-down crown which helps in both alignment and to lower the center of gravity along with a curved leading edge to offer maximum playability from any lie.

Titleist TSR fairway woods

Titleist TSR1, TSR2, TSR2+ and TSR3 Fairway Woods

$350
Click through to purchase a new Titleist TSR fairway wood from Fairway Jockey today.

he new Titleist TSR fairway woods, much like the TSR drivers, sent the Titleist engineering team back to the drawing board to make every possible improvement they could from the already beloved TSi series. The results speak for themselves. “Higher, farther and more forgiving” is the headline from Titleist, and the clubs deliver. There is much hidden (and not-so-hidden) tech that should have golfers excited to try out these clubs, including an additional fourth specialty model intended to fill a gap in a lot of players bags. Models include Titleist TSR1, Titleist TSR2, Titleist TSR2+ and Titleist TSR3.
