TaylorMade SIM Max driver
Who doesn’t love game-improvement features with a cool-sounding name straight out of Get Smart? In fact, the “Inertia Generator” is straight-up 21st-century tech: Not only does the IG position weight in the way back of the club, it’s also, ahem, smartly angled to lessen drag on the downswing for extra yards. And it’s Rory McIlroy’s driver of choice.
TaylorMade SIM Max D driver
All SIM family woods feature the asymmetric sole, Inertia Generator and Speed Injected Twist Face to reduce sidespin and increase ball speed, and Loft Sleeve to adjust face angle and shot trajectory. Each version’s face height is a bit different, growing taller from SIM to Max to the deepest, Max D.
