Welcome back to Backspin, a video series where equipment editors Jonathan Wall and Andrew Tursky (that’s me) take a look back at famous golf-related videos from the past. The featured video this week is a classic infomercial for the Spin Doctor RI wedge from 20 years ago.
The Spin Doctor wedge, which was first released in the 90s (the video came out in 2000), was well known for its interchangeable face inserts and promises of major backspin with the wedge. Being that this video is named Backspin, we thought it was only right to react to an infomercial so heavily endorsing backspin.
