The 2021 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club kicks off on Thursday, April 8. For fans hoping to follow the first major of the year from home, we have you covered. Here’s what you need to know to watch the first round of the Masters.
Previewing Masters Round 1
When the 2020 Masters finally rolled around in November, Bryson DeChambeau had designs to shock the world by picking apart the course unlike any player had done before on his way to a green jacket. Things didn’t go as planned, but the reigning U.S. Open champion learned much from the experience. Now Bryson is back at Augusta National with a new game plan, and a new driver, to take another shot at Masters glory.
DeChambeau will open his tournament at 1:36 p.m. ET on Thursday alongside Adam Scott and Max Homa.
But Bryson isn’t the only proven major champion with his eyes on a green jacket this week. Defending champion Dustin Johnson is still the top-ranked player in the world, despite not playing his best in recent weeks. 2015 Masters champion Jordan Spieth, on the other hand, is playing like the best in the world after racing up the World Ranking.
Below you will find everything you need to watch the first round of the Masters on Thursday.
