GOLF’s latest Top 100 Courses ranking is here, and with it comes plenty to discuss. From the biggest movers to the newbies on the list, much has changed since our last ranking, but one thing has remained constant — New York reigns king.

No, New York does not house the top course in the ranking (that honor goes to neighboring New Jersey, home of Pine Valley), but the Empire State does own the honor of being the state with the most Top 100 Courses. With 15 Top 100 gems, New York bests a slate of worthy challengers for the top spot including California (12), Ohio (7), New Jersey (6) and Massachusetts (6).

Check out below for a full state-by-state breakdown of our newest Top 100 Courses ranking.
