We recently unveiled our newest GOLF Top 100 Courses in the U.S. ranking for 2024-25, and once again our raters’ top-ranked courses span across the country, from Hawaii to Florida.

Longtime golf strongholds New York and California lead the way as the No. 1 and No. 2 states with the most Top 100 courses, but the competition has gotten closer. New York moved from 15 to 14 courses, with California growing from 12 to 13 courses on the U.S. list.

Pennsylvania made the biggest move in this year’s list, going from three courses on the 2022-23 Top 100 U.S. list to five this year. In all, 30 states are represented in the ranking, with 18 states featuring more than one course.

How many top courses does your home state have? Find out below with our complete state-by-state breakdown of our newest Top 100 Courses ranking.
