If the first three rounds of the 2020 Wyndham Championship are a good measure, Sunday’s final round will feature enough action to keep any golf fan satisfied, and will be well worth tuning in to. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the final round.
Previewing Wyndham Championship final round
Everyone will be hunting Si Woo Kim on Sunday at the Wyndham Championshp. Kim shared the lead after two rounds, and then put up a stellar eight-under 62 featuring one hole-in-one and another near-ace to move to 18 under. That’s good enough for a two-shot lead heading into the final round.
Kim’s closest competitors are Rob Oppenheim and Doc Redman, who are tied for second at 16 under. Billy Horschel will begin Sunday’s round three shots back at 15 under.
But with Sedgefield Country Club wilting under the games of the Tour’s elite all week, plenty of birdies can be expected on Sunday, ensuring a volatile leaderboard. That means anyone within a prayer of the lead has a chance, including two major winners who are lurking a few shots back. 2012 U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson is at 13 under, and two-time major champ Zach Johnson is at 12 under after a third-round 61.
