Tiger Woods has achieved a level of fame that makes even his mere arrival to the course must-see viewing — especially when he’s playing well.

Who could forget the incredible statement he made before the final round of the 2018 Tour Championship when strode out of the East Lake parking lot in a sleeveless black workout shirt and backwards cap, carrying his iconic red polo on a hanger? It was an iconic moment, and fans reveled in the pure, alpha vibes on display. Is it any surprise Tiger went on to win for his first victory in over five years, by two shots?

At this week’s PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park, Tiger’s arrival was again lauded by observers on social media, but for an altogether different reason. Cameras rolled as Tiger, flanked by his caddie, Joe LaCava, put on his golf shoes in the parking lot.

The immediate takeaway? Tiger Woods: He’s just like us! And the Twitter reactions did not disappoint.

The moral of the story? Just about everything Tiger Woods does during a major week is enough to get fans super pumped up. Now it’s up to him to channel those vibes on the course.
