U.S. Open live coverage: How to watch the 2019 U.S. Open on Saturday

It’s time for Moving Day at Pebble Beach, and U.S. Open live coverage begins at noon ET.

Friday proved to be a more grueling day at Pebble Beach, with higher scores than Thursday’s birdie-fest. Justin Rose went into the clubhouse at seven under par, but Gary Woodland jumped out in the afternoon wave to shoot six under and take the 36-hole lead at nine under overall, two ahead of Rose.

Tiger Woods spent Friday seemingly on the cusp of breaking through, but couldn’t capitalize on his vast number of birdie opportunities. He hit 13 of 18 greens in regulation, but made just one birdie. Woods enter Saturdays at even par, nine shots off Woodland’s pace.

But with the leaderboard still bunched, and with few players rising precipitously on Friday, Saturday should prove important in separating the contenders from the pretenders. And it will be one to watch, for sure.
