Jon Rahm has redemption on his mind at this week’s Memorial. Though he said the frustration over his forced WD while leading last year’s Memorial only lasted “10 minutes,” he’s no doubt hungry to capture the second win at Muirfield Village that he was denied in 2021.
Rahm went on to win the U.S. Open weeks later, a victory that helped him rise to No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking for a time. But now Scottie Scheffler has taken his place after a torrid stretch.
With Scheffler sitting this week out, it’s a perfect opportunity for Rahm to make some headway on reclaiming the top ranking.
