Rory McIlroy is always in the spotlight at major championships, but at the 2025 Masters, his daughter Poppy stole the show.
At the annual Par 3 Contest at Augusta National on Wednesday, McIlroy played with his wife and daughter in tow. On the 9th hole, McIlroy faced a difficult downhill putt and called in Poppy to hit it for him.
What followed was one of the highlights of the day, as Poppy drained the outrageously fast putt, electrifying the gallery and earning enthusiastic congratulations from her proud dad.
The 2025 Masters Par 3 Contest marked just one of dozens of memories the McIlroy family has had together on the golf course over the years. Rory and Erica got married at Ashford Castle in Ireland in 2017, and Poppy was born on August 21, 2020, in Jupiter, Fla.
In May of 2024, Rory filed for divorce from Erica, but in June, McIlroy released a statement that the couple had reconciled.
“Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together,” McIlroy told The Guardian. “Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning.”
The family of three was all smiles at the 2025 Masters. Check out photos of the McIlroys through the years below.
