If Rickie Fowler can complete his career comeback and hang on to win the U.S. Open this week at Los Angeles Country Club, you can bank on who will be there to greet him on the 72nd green: his wife, Allison Stokke.
It was only seven years ago when Fowler became an eternal meme for being the only single player on the 2016 Ryder Cup team.
Little did he know at the time, but his days as a single Pringle were numbered when he slid into the DMs of former All-American pole vaulter and fitness model Allison Stokke the next year and the pair started dating.
Stokke, who nearly made the 2012 U.S. Olympic team after a standout career at Cal, started making public appearances with Fowler in 2017, like at that year’s Presidents Cup, and caddying for her man in the 2018 Masters Par-3 Contest.
In November 2021, Fowler and Stokke announced the birth of their first child, a daughter, Maya. On his golf bag, Fowler sports an AJGA bag tag with Maya’s name on it and a high school graduation year of 2040.
