December 14, 2019

Heading into the final day of the 2019 Presidents Cup, things are uncommonly close between the United States and International teams. You can find a full list of pairings and matchups for Day 4 of the Presidents Cup below, which will begin on Saturday afternoon for viewers in the United States.

Yesterday’s morning session belonged to the Internationals, with Abraham Ancer, Sungjae Im, C.T. Pan and Hideki Matsuyama combining to claim half of the four morning session matches over the U.S. side. Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas nabbed the lone U.S. win of the morning session, while a late charge (and some clutch putting) from Matt Kuchar and Tony Finau allowed the Americans to escape with a half-point.

The U.S. team mounted a massive comeback in Saturday’s afternoon session at Royal Melbourne in Australia, winning a pair of matches to pull within two points of the Internationals.

At the end of a two-session day where eight points were awarded, the final score remained 10 to 8 in favor of the Internationals.

Heading into the final day, 12 points are up for grabs, some 40 percent of the entire event’s total. Individuals for each team are pitted against each other will compete in 12 singles matches for those points.
