If you thought the miniature golf in Happy Gilmore looked gnarly, just wait until you get a load of ABC’s new golf show, Holey Moley. NBA star and golf fanatic Steph Curry is the executive producer (along with his production company, Unanimous Media), and the mini-golf competition series is unlike anything we’ve ever seen.

Entertainment Weekly got a sneak preview of what’s to come. Here’s the gist: The 10-episode primetime show features mini-golf lovers from all over the country competing head-to-head on some truly outrageous mini golf holes — which look more like full-blown obstacle courses.

Comedian Rob Riggle and ESPN’s Joe Tessitore are on hand to provide color commentary from the booth (looking like proper golf analysts, as you can see in the photo below) while The Real’s Jeannie Mai is a “sideline correspondent.”

“This is miniature golf unlike anything you’ve ever seen; it’s like miniature golf meets Ninja Warriors meets Double Dare from back in the day — it’s insane,” Mai told EW. “There’s some ridiculous challenges. For example, at one point we tee off from a three-story hole that’s floating above a huge freezing cold pond of water and the person who misses the hole plummets to their demise into the pond!”

Windmills are a natural inclusion — but their family-friendliness is suspect. “Let me tell you these windmills knocked human beings over in front of my very own eyes!” Mai said. “It’s ferocious; it wasn’t an easy thing to watch.”

Sounds like some epic summer entertainment! Holey Moley premieres at 8 p.m. ET on June 20 on ABC. You can see photos from the set below.
