Two-time LPGA winner and major champion Morgan Pressel is joining Golf Channel and NBC’s broadcast team as an analyst and on-course reporter for both LPGA and PGA Tour events, the network announced in a press release on Tuesday.

Pressel, 32, has spent close to half her life as a professional golfer. She memorably won the ANA Inspiration (then the Kraft Nabisco Championship) as an 18-year-old in 2007, at the time making her the youngest major winner in the modern era.

Though her last win was the 2008 Kapalua LPGA Classic, Pressel has an impressive 65 career Top 10s and over $8 million in career earnings on the LPGA Tour — 31st on the all-time money list. She’s also a Solheim Cup stalwart, having represented Team USA six times since 2007.

Currently ranked 90th in the world, Pressel had two top-20 finishes in 2020 and has no plans to hang up her clubs. She’ll continue to compete on the LPGA Tour while also contributing to Golf Channel and NBC’s coverage of the U.S. Women’s Open, Amundi Evian Championship, Solheim Cup, and the upcoming Honda Classic on the PGA Tour.

“I’m excited to join the NBC Sports and Golf Channel family in a greater capacity this year, alongside my competitive playing schedule on the LPGA Tour,” Pressel said in a press release. “It is humbling for me that NBC has given me the opportunity to build on my experience in this area of our game and to learn from some of the best people in the business in the process. I can’t wait to get started.”

Prior to accepting her new role at Golf Channel/NBC, Pressel served as a guest on-course reporter for LPGA Tour coverage on GOLF Channel, worked as an analyst for the U.S. Senior Women’s Open and provided digital coverage of the U.S. Open for Fox Sports.

Pressel will make her debut in her new role at this week’s LPGA Drive On Championship in Ocala, Fla. Editor
