The second round of the 2022 Masters begins on Friday, April 8, at Augusta National. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 2 on TV or online.

Previewing Masters Round 2

The tens of thousands of fans in attendance for Tiger Woods’ return at the 2022 Masters on Thursday were happy just to see the five-time champion on the 1st tee. He gave them much more than that.

Why Tiger Woods’ welcome-back round was so different from any before it
By: Michael Bamberger

In his first professional round in 17 months and playing on a reconstructed right leg, Woods looked like his old self, making three birdies, two bogeys, and a handful of clutch par saves for an opening-round one-under 71. The results far surpassed most people’s expectations, and they leave Tiger four shots off the lead with a legitimate shot to contend this weekend.

He’ll take the next step on Friday afternoon when he begins his second round at 1:41 p.m. ET.

If you want to watch the second round on TV, ESPN is the place to do it. Their telecast starts at 3 p.m. ET. Extensive streaming coverage of Round 2 will be available on ESPN+ and Masters.com starting early Friday morning.
