Masters live coverage: How to watch Round 2 of the 2020 Masters on Friday

The opening round of the 2020 Masters isn’t quite finished, thanks to a three-hour rain delay on Thursday. But once players finish up their rounds early Friday, Round 2 will be set to begin. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the second round.

Previewing Masters Round 2

This year’s unique Masters got off to a thrilling start on Thursday. Rainstorms softened the course, making it slightly less difficult than normal. Tiger Woods took advantage of the conditions, tying his career-low opening round at Augusta. Woods put up four birdies against zero bogeys to get into a tie for 5th.

Out ahead of Tiger and the rest of the field is PGA Tour veteran Paul Casey. Casey came out hot on Thursday and never let up, shooting a seven-under 65 to take a two-shot lead when the sun set.

But the leaderboard is loaded with plenty of other star players. Webb Simpson and Xander Schauffele finished at five under, while four players, including Patrick Reed and Louis Oosthuizen, matched Tiger’s 68. Justin Thomas (five under), Adam Scott (four under), Matthew Wollf (four under) Rickie Fowler (three under), and Dustin Johnson (three under) are right in the mix, though they still have to finish their rounds Friday morning.

Masters officials announced that the second round should begin around 9:30 a.m. ET on Friday, provided there are no further delays. So you can add two and a half hours to the original Round 2 tee times. For example, Tiger Woods was initially scheduled to tee off at 12:00 p.m. ET on Friday, but now he will tee off at 2:30 p.m. ET.
