Making your first ace in a monumental occasion in the life of any golfer. But doing it in front of Jack Nicklaus? Instant legend status.

Such was the case for Bob Ritchie — more commonly known by his stage name, Kid Rock. The country rocker made his first hole-in-one at the Bear’s Club — a private club in Jupiter, Fla. that was founded by Nicklaus in 1999 — on the 175-yard second hole, according to Jack Nicklaus’s tweet.

This isn’t the first time Kid Rock has earned Jack’s praise. Last year, he sunk an impressive 40-foot putt at the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf as Nicklaus’s partner, a feat that was also documented by the Golden Bear.
