HAVEN, Wis. — ‘Harry Potter’ actor Tom Felton collapsed Thursday at Whistling Straits while playing in a celebrity match at the Ryder Cup. He was taken off on a stretcher and rushed to local medical care.
Felton, 34, was on the 18th hole when he appeared to collapse. He was playing alongside Olympian Dan Jansen and hockey players Teemu Selanne and Mike Eruzione. There has been no immediate update on his health, but photos show him conscious as he left the course. You can find those below.
The celebrity match has routinely been played during the final practice round before the Cup begins, and Felton seemed to be happily involved. Videos on social media show Felton mixing in among the spectators, making Harry Potter jokes and signing autographs.
Felton is well known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series of movies, one of the world’s most popular book-to-movie franchises. We will update this post further when more information is shared. Below are some videos of Felton from earlier in the day.
