Max Homa, Harold Varner III and Joel Dahmen have needed to be patient during their play on the golf course. They’ve needed to be aggressive. They’ve needed to hold a straight face.

They’ll need each on the poker table.

Homa, Varner and Dahmen will join other professional golfers and teachers, including John Daly, Michelle Wie, Butch Harmon, Cheyenne Woods and Pat Perez, at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday for the “Chipping All-In” charity poker tournament. The live online event will be broadcast on Twitch and YouTube, and proceeds will go toward the MGM Resorts Foundation’s Employee Emergency Grant Fund, which supports the company’s employees impacted by the coronavirus.

“It is in our DNA to offer live entertainment and sports experiences to fans worldwide, even in the toughest of times,” said Lance Evans, senior vice president of Sports and Sponsorships for MGM Resorts, in a release.

The players will be divided among tables for the Texas Hold ’em tournament, and the final two at each will advance to the final table. Each player will be mic’d up and take questions, and viewers can make real-time donations here.

Though if you want to watch Homa, you might have to log on early.

“Join me April 16 for the Chipping All-In Virtual Poker Tournament,” he shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday. “(I suck at poker)”
