28 heart-warming photos you need to see from the Masters Par 3 Contest on Wednesday

Before the challenge of tournament play begins on Thursday morning, the annual Masters Par 3 Contest is played on Wednesday afternoon: a low-stress, family-friendly exhibition on Augusta National’s Par 3 course.

The Masters Par 3 Contest is a cherished tradition at the tournament, and dates all the way back to 1960. Every competitor is invited to participate, as well as non-competing past champions.

It’s a day full of smiles, laughter and cuteness galore (I mean, just look at those mini caddie jumpsuits!) Wives, girlfriends and other relatives take up the bag while kids run around and occasionally hit shots or drain putts.
