2026 Players Championship: TV schedule, streaming info, how to watch, tee times

The 2026 Players Championship begins this week at iconic TPC Sawgrass in Florida. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the PGA Tour’s flagship tournament, including a full Players Championship TV schedule, streaming information and complete tee times for the first and second rounds.

How to watch Players Championship

This week’s tournament represents the biggest PGA Tour event of the season, along with the biggest purse in all of golf. Whoever walks away with the trophy on Sunday at TPC Sawgrass will earn a whopping $4.5 million from the enormous $25 million Players Championship purse.

The two best golfers in the Players field, and the Official World Golf Ranking, are receiving top billing this week, and for good reason. The last time someone not named Rory McIlroy or Scottie Scheffler won the Players was back in 2022.

Last year, McIlroy took home his second Players title a month before winning his first green jacket at the Masters. Before that, Scheffler won back-to-back in 2023 and 2024.

McIlroy and Scheffler aren’t the only stars in the field, though. This year’s Players features arguably the strongest field in golf. Among those who are threats to win are two-time major champions Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele, as well as resurgent stars Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth.

NBC and Golf Channel will provide TV coverage of the 2026 Players Championship, while PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer streaming coverage and featured group coverage all week long. Peacock will air simulcasts of NBC’s Players Championship TV coverage.
