The 2026 American Express starts Thursday with the first round at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Thursday, including full American Express TV coverage, streaming details and Round 1 tee times.

How to watch American Express on Thursday

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has dominated the last four seasons on the PGA Tour, capturing a boatload of victories while winning four-straight Player of the Year awards. Can Scheffler possibly make it five years in a row?

We begin to find out the answer to that question on Thursday, when Scheffler makes his season debut at the American Express. Scheffler intended to start last season at the American Express too, but a freak injury over Christmas kept him out of the field.

But now the four-time major champion is healthy and ready to pick up where he left off.

The World No. 1 will play his first round at La Quinta Country Club with Justin Rose.

You can watch the first round of the American Express on TV via Golf Channel, which will air coverage beginning at 4 p.m. ET on Thursday. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide exclusive streaming coverage starting Thursday at 11:30 a.m. ET, as well as featured group coverage all day long.
