The 2025 Walker Cup kicks off this weekend at iconic Cypress Point in Pebble Beach, Calif. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament, including full Walker Cup TV coverage, streaming info and much more.
How to watch Walker Cup
The Walker Cup is a biennial team golf event pitting the best amateur golfers in the U.S. against the top amateurs from Great Britain and Ireland. In other words, it’s the amateur version of the Ryder Cup, and it began all the way back in 1922.
The U.S. team has won the last four Walker Cups, including the 2023 event held at the Old Course at St. Andrews. Which brings us to another point: the Walker Cup is often played on even more historic golf courses than the Ryder Cup.

And this year is certainly no different. The star of this week’s event will undoubtedly be host course Cypress Point Club. Designed by course architecture legend Alister MacKenzie, it ranks No. 2 on both GOLF’s Top 100 Courses in the U.S. and Top 100 Courses in the World lists.
Most people will never get to play the famously exclusive course, but this week they’ll get to see it in all its glory on live television.
The competition takes place across two days, with 10 players on each team. Saturday’s opening round will feature four foursomes, or alternate shot, matches in the morning, followed by eight singles matches. Sunday final day of play will also begin with four foursomes matches and end with 10 singles matches.
Golf Channel will provide exclusive TV coverage of the 2025 Walker Cup, while Peacock will offer exclusive early streaming coverage of both rounds.
