The third round of the 2025 U.S. Open begins Saturday, June 14, at Oakmont Country Club. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Saturday, including full U.S. Open TV coverage, streaming info and Round 3 tee times.
How to watch U.S. Open on Saturday
It’s Saturday of U.S. Open week, but before we get to Round 3, several players need to complete Round 2. Play was suspended Friday evening due to severe weather with 13 players still on the course. They will return to Oakmont at 7:30 a.m. ET Saturday morning to finish their rounds. Once they’re done, the cut will be made, tee times will be determined, and the third round will get underway at around 9 a.m. ET. (UPDATE: Round 3 tee times were released Saturday morning, they can be viewed at the bottom of this post.)
One thing we do know is who will be the leader when Round 3 begins. Sam Burns’ best finish at a major so far in his career is a T9, which came at last year’s U.S. Open. At this year’s Open, Burns heads into the weekend with the solo lead.
2025 U.S. Open Round 2 Highlights
Round 2 of the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont is in the books. Sam Burns leads the way, but J.J. Spaun, Viktor Hovland, Adam Scott, and several others are close behind. Relive the action now!
As most players grinded through difficult rounds on Friday at Oakmont, Burns breezed through his second 18 for a tournament-best 65. That moved him to three under. By the time play had ended, he was on top of the leaderboard by one shot.
But with double bogeys lurking everywhere at Oakmont, anything can happen over the final 36 holes. On Saturday, stars currently further down the leaderboard — like Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland and Brooks Koepka — will try to make runs at Burns’ lead.
You can watch the third round of the U.S. Open on TV via NBC and USA. USA will open the TV coverage on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, followed by NBC at 12 p.m. ET. Featured group streaming coverage can be found on Peacock, USOpen.com and the USGA app.
