The second round 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open starts Friday, March 28, at Memorial Park Golf Course in Texas. You can find full Houston Open tee times for Friday’s second round at the bottom of this post.

Featured tee time for Round 2

On Thursday at the Houston Open, Rory McIlroy teed off early and was forced to contend with heavy rain for part of his round. As a result, he got off to a slower start than he would have liked, finishing his first nine holes at one over, leaving him a few shots off the lead. Eventually McIlroy got that shot back to finish with an even-par 70.

He’ll have to regain the form that won him the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Players Championship earlier this year if he wants to add a third victory before the 2025 Masters.

After teeing off on the back nine in the morning wave for Round 1, McIlroy will switch to an afternoon tee time and 1st-tee start for Friday’s second round.

McIlroy will begin Round 1 on Friday at 2:03 p.m. ET, and he’ll once again play alongside Maverick McNealy and Wyndham Clark.
