After starting his tournament off in neutral, Rickie Fowler responded with a seven-birdie 64 in Round 2 to jump onto the first page of the leaderboard. Fowler backed that up with a three-under 67 on Saturday to play his way into the final group alongside 54-hole co-leaders Ben Griffin and Matti Schmid.
Fowler will start Sunday four shots back of Griffin and Schmid, but will do so with the advantage edge on the two younger players. The 36-year-old Fowler has six PGA Tour wins under his belt. Griffin’s only win came at last month’s team event, the Zurich Classic. Schmid’s best finish was a third place at the 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
Fowler, Griffin and Schmid will tee off at 12:50 p.m. ET.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler finally got things going on Saturday, where he shot a six-under 64 to move to seven-under-par on the tournament. Scheffler will start Sunday six shots off the pace but will undoubtedly make his presence felt on the leaderboard.
Scheffler will go off at 12:28 p.m. ET alongside Andrew Novak and Kurt Kitayama.
