How to watch Tour Championship on Friday
When FedEx Cup leader Scottie Scheffler opened Thursday’s round with a bogey, for a moment it seemed like the Tour Championship leaderboard would get crowded fast. But that moment didn’t last long.
Scheffler recovered brilliantly from there, draining five back-nine birdies to shoot a six-under 65. It was the best round of the day, and Scheffler already started with a two-shot advantage over his nearest chaser.
Heading into Friday’s second round, Scheffler’s lead has grown to seven strokes, putting him that much closer to the record $25 million grand prize.
