At No. 24, Finau is the highest-ranked player in the field. He’s also tied for the most PGA Tour wins in the field with Padraig Harrington, who is 52 years old.

Most importantly, he’s the defending champion, having defeated Jon Rahm to win last year’s Mexico Open, one year after finishing T2.

For Thursday, Finau will tee off at 9:03 a.m. ET with Mackenzie Hughes and Nicolai Højgaard.

You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2024 Mexico Open beginning on ESPN+ with featured group coverage, and then on Golf Channel starting at 4 p.m. ET. Peacock will offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage.
