The 2024 PGA Tour season has probably not gone as Rory McIlroy envisioned back in January. But he did capture a win at the Wells Fargo (and another at the team-event Zurich Classic), and his six top 10s have him in third place to start the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan announced the Tour's 2025 schedule on Wednesday in Memphis.

Now McIlroy is hoping to end his season on a positive note with a run at the FedEx Cup title, and his quest begins at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

After teeing off early for the opening round, McIlroy will start Friday’s second round at 12:45 p.m. ET alongside Collin Morikawa.

You can watch Friday’s second round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship on ESPN+ with exclusive early action and featured group coverage beginning at 8 a.m. ET, and on Golf Channel starting at 2 p.m. ET. Peacock will offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s Friday coverage.
