Adam Scott needed a good finish this week to make it into the top 30 on the FedEx Cup points list and qualify for the ultra-lucrative Tour Championship next week.

So far, the Aussie is delivering in a big way, firing rounds of 68-63 to lead the BMW Championship by three shots over Keegan Bradley at the tournament’s halfway point.

If Scott holds on to win on Sunday, he’ll go from No. 41 to No. 4 in the points standings, behind only Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele and Hideki Matsuyama.
