The 2023 Wyndham Championship kicks off Thursday with the opening round at Sedgefield Country Club. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online.

Previewing Round 1

Just over a year ago, Justin Thomas was on top of the golf world, having captured his second PGA Championship title. But things look very differently for the American star as the 2022-23 PGA Tour regular season comes to end this week.

Thomas has struggled the last couple of months, and as a result he’s currently ranked No. 79 in the FedEx Cup standings, outside of the top 70 who qualify for the first round of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Thomas will need a strong finish this week to have a chance, or he will be forced to end his season early and potentially miss out on the Ryder Cup this fall.

You can stream the first round of the Wyndham Championship via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 6:45 a.m. ET on Thursday, or you can watch the telecast on Golf Channel starting at 2 p.m. ET.
