The 2023 Wyndham Championship begins Thursday, August 3, with the first round at Sedgefield Country Club. You can find full Round 1 Wyndham Championship tee times at the bottom of this post.

Heading into the final tournament of the PGA Tour’s regular season, two Tour stars in the field are in very different positions. Justin Thomas is the top-ranked player teeing it up this week, outranking fellow Wyndham competitor and major champion Hideki Matsuyama by five spots, 26 to 31.

But Thomas would happily trade places with Hideki this week, because while Matsuyama has a worse OWGR ranking, he’s comfortably inside the top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings, which means he has a spot in the playoffs locked up. Thomas, on the other hand, is on the outside looking in, needing a strong performance at the Wyndham to get in.

Thomas will get his opening round started at 7:45 a.m. ET on Thursday alongside Shane Lowry and Adam Scott. Matsuyama tees off on Thursday at 1 p.m. ET with Cameron Davis and Russell Henley.

You can stream Thursday’s first round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 6:45 a.m. ET or watch the action on Golf Channel starting at 2 p.m. ET.
