Featured grouping for Round 2
UPDATE: The PGA Tour announced Friday morning that Round 2 tee times would be pushed back 1 hour and 45 minutes to leave time to complete Round 1 beforehand. The first grouping was scheduled to go off at 9:15 a.m. ET, but they will now begin at 11 a.m. ET. You can see the original Round 2 tee times at the bottom of this post.
So far in 2023, Jon Rahm looks like an unstoppable force. The current World No. 3 won his first two PGA Tour starts this calendar year. Then in his third start at the Farmers Insurance Open, Rahm nearly made it three in a row before faltering late to finish T7.
The Spanish star and 2021 U.S. Open champion is playing like the best golfer in the world, and a third win in four tries would get him much closer to the No. 1 ranking held by another pro on a hot streak, Rory McIlroy.
For the second round of the Phoenix Open on Friday, Rahm will tee off at 9:48 a.m. ET alongside Max Homa and Keegan Bradley. You can stream Friday’s second round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ or watch the action on Golf Channel.
