Previewing Open Round 3
Two rounds are complete, the cut has been made and we’re finally ready for weekend play at the 2023 Open Championship.
Heading into Round 3 on Saturday, one player rests comfortably in front of everyone else on top of the leaderboard: American pro Brian Harman. The two-time PGA Tour winner shot a stellar six-under 65 on Friday to take a five-shot lead through 36 holes.
Englishman and local favorite Tommy Fleetwood is alone in second at five under following a second-round 71. He’s just one shot in front of Sepp Straka in third place, with a host of players trailing close behind, including Jordan Spieth and Jason Day.
