The 2023 Fortinet Championship kicks off Thursday with the opening round at Silverado Resort’s North Course. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online.

Previewing Round 1

In some ways, Justin Thomas has nothing on the line at this week’s Fortinet Championship. In other ways, the two-time major champion has everything on the line.

Thomas will play on the U.S. Ryder Cup team in a couple of weeks, and nothing he does on the course this week will impact that event. But he has also struggled all year long, making his way onto the American side via a controversial captain’s pick. So Thomas is intent on building some positive momentum in his game before heading to Rome to play for his country.

Thomas tees off for the opening round of the Fortinet at 3:38 p.m. ET Thursday with playing partners Akshay Bhatia and Sahith Theegala.

You can stream the first round of the Fortinet Championship via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, or you can watch the telecast on Golf Channel starting at 6 p.m. ET.
