The 2022 edition of the ever-popular WM Phoenix Open begins on Thursday, February 10, at TPC Scottsdale. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament.

WM Phoenix Open preview

The beginning of 2022 looks a whole lot like the beginning of 2021 for Jordan Spieth. The three-time major champ started last year on a comeback quest, missed the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open, then followed that up with a T4 at the WM Phoenix Open and a T3 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. That early run eventually led to his first win in years at the Texas Open in April.

This year, Spieth also missed the cut at the Farmers. With the Pebble Pro-Am and Phoenix Open flipped on the schedule, Spieth headed to Pebble first, where he one-upped himself with a second-place finish. Now he’s back at TPC Scottsdale to try to capture the title after giving away a share of the lead on Sunday last year.

Spieth will get his tournament started Thursday on the 10th tee at 9:59 a.m. ET (7:59 local time). He’ll play the opening two rounds alongside Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele.

Live coverage of this year’s WM Phoenix Open will be provided by Golf Channel and CBS on TV. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer wall-to-wall streaming coverage online for those who prefer to stream the tournament.
