The first round of the 2022 Valero Texas Open gets underway Thursday morning in San Antonio, Texas. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online.

Previewing the Valero Texas Open

At last year’s Texas Open, three-time major champion Jordan Spieth ended a lengthy drought with a two-shot victory over Charley Hoffman. It was his 12th PGA Tour victory, but despite contending regularly, Spieth has been unable to add to that number since.

That could all change this week when Spieth returns to TPC San Antonio to try and go back-to-back and get ready for the first major of the year next week at Augusta National.

Spieth will open his tournament at 2:09 p.m. ET on Thursday. He’ll play the first round with Hoffman and Corey Conners. You can stream the entire opening round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, or watch the telecast on Golf Channel.
