The second round of the 2022 Players Championship will begin at some point on Friday at TPC Sawgrass, but only after the rain-delayed opening round is complete. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 2 on TV or online.

Previewing Players Round 2

This year’s Players Championship was greeted with heavy storms on Thursday. The start of the opening round was delayed an hour, and play was later suspended for four hours as more storms rolled through Ponte Vedra. As a result, half the field was unable to complete their rounds before play was called due to darkness.

The group of Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa, for example, only finished two holes before having to head back to the clubhouse. They are expected to resume their first rounds Friday morning at 7:15 a.m. ET. If all goes well, the second round should begin around 11:20 a.m. ET.

You can stream extensive coverage of Friday’s action at TPC Sawgrass via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, and Golf Channel will provide the TV coverage.
