Featured grouping for Round 2
For the past two years, Jason Day has been grinding to return to his major-winning form and end a lengthy winless drought that dates back to May of 2018.
Last season he came close to making it happen, making 12 of 19 cuts and finishing T3 at the Farmers Insurance Open. So far this season, Day has looked even better, with a T8 at the Shriners Children’s Open and a T11 at the CJ Cup.
For the second round of the Houston Open on Friday, Day will tee off at 1:09 p.m. ET alongside Hideki Matsuyama and Sebastián Muñoz.
