The 2022 Honda Classic kicks off the PGA Tour’s annual Florida Swing, and it all starts this week in Palm Beach Gardens. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament.
Honda Classic preview
It’s been a long time since Brooks Koepka has consistently dominated leaderboards, which is mostly thanks to nagging injuries that have upended his last two years on Tour. But Koepka is starting to round into form. He did miss the cut at last week’s Genesis Invitational, but one week before he finished T3 at the WM Phoenix Open.
At the Honda Classic, Koepka is the second-best ranked player in the field, behind only Louis Oosthuizen, making this a good opportunity for his elite game to shine against a relatively weak field. But he’ll also have to contend with Billy Horschel, Sungjae Im, Daniel Berger and Genesis winner Joaquin Niemann. Should he succeed and win, it would be his ninth career PGA Tour victory and his first since last February.
Extensive coverage of this year’s Honda Classic will be provided by Golf Channel and NBC on TV and PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ and Peacock online for those who prefer to stream the tournament.
