The 2022 Genesis Invitational kicks off Thursday at Riviera Country Club in California. Here’s what you need to know to watch the first round on TV or online.

Previewing Genesis Invitational Round 1

It doesn’t get much better than this. All of the top 10 players in the world are in the field at the Genesis, ready to go to battle on a historic, difficult course, all while under the watchful eye of tournament host Tiger Woods.

The current “big three” — No. 1 Jon Rahm, No. 2 Collin Morikawa and No. 3 Patrick Cantlay — will be competing to outdo each other, with plenty of other star players fighting to overtake them. All three have played well so far in 2022, though none have captured a win this year. That could change this week.

For Thursday’s first round, Rahm will be the first off at 10:24 a.m. ET. Morikawa follows him in the very next grouping at 10:35 a.m. ET, while Cantlay tees off in the afternoon at 3:21 p.m. ET. You can stream the entire opening round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, or watch the telecast on Golf Channel.
