The 2021 Shriners Children’s Open, the PGA Tour’s long-running event in Las Vegas, begins on Thursday, October 7, at TPC Summerlin. You can find full Round 1 tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.
Notable groupings for Shriners Children’s Open Round 1
It may be early in the new 2021-2022 PGA Tour season, but this week’s tournament has attracted a quality field of proven Tour winners. The best among them might be Louis Oosthuizen, who at World No. 8 is the top-ranked player teeing it up, though just one spot above Brooks Koepka, who is also in the field this week.
Oosthuizen is coming off a great season on Tour that saw him move back into the game’s elite. He didn’t win, but he collected four runner-up finishes, two of which came at the PGA Championship and U.S. Open. He closed off an incredible run at the majors with a T3 at the Open at Royal St. George’s.
Oosthuizen will play the opening round in Las Vegas alongside Jason Kokrak and Sebastián Muñoz. Their grouping will get Thursday started early with a tee time of 10:24 a.m. ET (7:24 a.m. local time).
