It’s Sunday at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and things are coming down to the wire. The stage is set for a dramatic final round from Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa. as a host of big names prepare to make a charge at the third women’s major of 2020. Below you can find everything you need to know about the purse, including payout information and winner’s share.
Previewing the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship final round
Sei Young Kim leads the field headed into the final round of the tournament by two strokes. Kim, who has top 10s in every women’s major and top 5 finishes in all but one, is seeking her first-ever major championship win Sunday. She’s trailed closely atop the leaderboard by a bevy of big names, particularly 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA champ Brooke Henderson as well as Inbee Park, Anna Nordqvist and Jennifer Kupcho.
Of course, Kim will not only have to fend off the field, but also beat the conditions at historic Aronimink Golf Club, which has proven itself a worthy challenge for many of the game’s best. With blustering winds, chilly temps and famed doglegs, the winner Sunday will have conquered a true major championship test.
Fans watching on TV may also find a peculiar sight atop the leaderboard on Sunday afternoon. The KPMG Women’s PGA will send the leaders out ahead of the rest of the field so as to allow television viewers to catch the majority of their round in the tournament’s broadcast window.
Below is the payout information and winner’s share for the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship’s $4.3 million purse; you can catch the action this afternoon on NBC (from noon-2:00 p.m. ET).
