2020 Vivint Houston Open tee times: First round groupings for Thursday

The 2020 Vivint Houston Open begins Thursday, November 5, at Memorial Park Golf Course. You can find full first round tee times for the tournament at the bottom of this post.

Notable groupings for Houston Open Round 1

Being the final tournament before the Masters, the Houston Open has attracted a stellar field of competitors this year, Phil Mickelson among them. The five-time major champion hasn’t performed as well as he would like this year on the PGA Tour, but he has captured two recent PGA Tour Champions wins, and he’s bombing it farther than ever.

Mickelson, of course, is also a three-time Masters champion, so he has extra incentive to play well this week and build his confidence for a run at a fourth green jacket. Phil tees off for Thursday’s opening round at 1:15 p.m. ET (12:15 p.m. local time) alongside Viktor Hovland and Jason Day.

Other notable groupings for the first round include Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth and Lanto Griffin (8:25 a.m. ET); Dustin Johnson, Tyrrell Hatton and Adam Scott (1:05 p.m. ET); Shane Lowry, Ted Potter, Jr. and Henrik Stenson (8:15 a.m. ET); and Sergio Garcia, Tony Finau and Brian Gay (8:35 a.m. ET).
