Dustin Johnson is making a Sunday charge the Houston Open, but will it be enough to claim the winner's check?

We’ve reached Sunday at the 2020 Vivint Houston Open, and the leaderboard is beginning to crowd. While all eyes are on what this week’s tournament means for a certain event on the horizon, a group of big names sit within striking distance heading down the stretch in the final round.
Dustin Johnson is looking to make his move up the leaderboard on Sunday. The reigning FedEx Cup Champion sits alone in second place, just a stroke behind the lead as he makes the turn at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. Johnson hasn’t played much since receiving a positive COVID test at the CJ Cup, and is looking for his first win since the Tour Championship in August.
But Johnson is far from the only notable face battling in the final PGA Tour event before the Masters — we’ve also got a Brooks Koepka sighting! (Yes! That Brooks Koepka.) Koepka is only playing in his second tournament since August as he continues to rehab a series of lingering lower-body injuries, but remains in the mix in Sunday’s final round. The four-time major champion is looking to make a push toward the top of the leaderboard after shooting 65 to open the weekend.
Johnson and Koepka are each chasing Carlos Ortiz, who holds the lead heading down the stretch in Houston. Also in contention is Hideki Matsuyama (of 2020 Players Championship opening round 63 fame), tied for third place at nine under.
Below is the payout information and winner’s share on the Houston Open’s $7 million purse; you can catch all the action Sunday on Golf Channel.
