Hudson Swafford’s caddie was stung by a bee on his forearm during Thursday’s first round of the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship. Swafford finished the day tied for the lead.
Swafford was stung by a bee on his hand during Friday’s second round. Swafford finished the day in the lead alone.
“I guess he just said it’s kind of a good omen,” Swafford said of his caddie.
You better believe – bee-lieve? – he’s looking for a whole hive before Sunday’s final round.
Swafford trails leader Adam Long by two shots, and they tee off at 1:30 p.m. in the final pairing. Long leads Mackenzie Hughes by three shots, and Xinjun Zhang by four, and they begin at 1:20 p.m. in the second-to-last pairing.
The fourth-round tee times are below. NBC will broadcast the tournament from 3-6 p.m. ET.
