The Open 2019: Tiger Woods takes in practice round with Patrick Reed at Royal Portrush
Golf fans, it appears as if the Big Cat has landed in Northern Ireland and arrived at Royal Portrush for the 2019 Open Championship. It looks like those 1:00 a.m. ET wakeup times in Florida to prep for the Open are over.
Tiger Woods, the three-time Open champion, was spotted playing a practice round alongside Patrick Reed on Sunday ahead of the fourth and final major of the season.

Woods has not won the Open since 2006, and he finished T6 at last year’s tournament. His last appearance on Tour came at the U.S. Open in June, when he finished T21 at Pebble Beach. He hasn’t won since capturing major title No. 15 at Augusta National this past April. Now the No. 5 player in the world will be going for major title No. 16 and his fourth Claret Jug.
Reed has been winless on Tour since winning the 2018 Masters. His most recent appearance on Tour came last week at the 3M Open where he finished 23rd. His best finish this season came two weeks ago when he finished fifth at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
